As a heavy computer user who owns at least 6 computers I have issues with DRM. It makes moving stuff from one computer to another a pain. I HATE iTunes and do all I can to avoid it. I also listen to a lot of audio books from the library. Some of them will allow you to burn them to CD which solves the issue, but many of them don't. Most of the ones that won't also are in wma format and you get to deal with Microsoft's version of DRM. I have tried a couple of products that work, but the tend to cause a conflict with the OS that causes a BSOD. Plus they are very slow.
I tried a new product called of all things DRMRemoval. Easy to use and a lot quicker than the other things I've tried. A little rocky on the install, had to do it a couple of times to get it to take, but once installed it worked very fast on the files I gave it. I'd sure recommend this product! Just as an example, I just converted a 6 CD book that would have taken another tool 3 - 4 hours in less than 45 minutes.COOL!
