One Wood Turn presents the work of artist Dennis Ewing. In my San Antonio, Texas studio I work in a variety of media to create pens, pencils and other objects from the lathe. All objects are one of a kind; no automation is used in the creation of my art. As no two pieces of wood, antler or other media I use are alike, you can be assured that you will be getting a unique writing instrument or decorative object. I love to talk fountain pens. All pens are finished to a silky smooth finish. The finish on your pen can be maintained with any furniture wax, or a simple wipe with a soft cloth.

When you are looking at a picture of an item, it is the actual item you will receive.  If you don't see what you are looking for ask for it. I will obtain the wood you desire and make your pen using the style you desire. I can do multiple versions of our pens for company gifts or to simplify your shopping list.
